I Avgi is a daily newspaper published in Athens, Greece. It is called the “Morning newspaper of the Left” and is politically affiliated with Syriza. It was first published in 1952. Manolis Glezos was for years its editor.

I Kathimerini is a daily, political and financial morning newspaper published in Athens. Its first edition was printed on September 15, 1919. It is published in the Greek language, as well as in an abridged English-language edition. Kathimerini traditionally supports the New Democracy party.

Ta Nea (Greek: Τα Νέα)

Ta Nea is a daily newspaper published in Athens. It was owned by Lambrakis Press Group, which also published the newspaper To Vima. The assets of DOL were acquired in 2017 by Alter Ego Media S.A. The newspaper began publishing in 1931 under the title Αθηναϊκά Νέα, with the first issue being released on May 28.

To Vima (Greek: Το Βήμα)

To Vima is a Greek daily newspaper first published in 1922 by Dimitris Lambrakis, the father of Christos Lambrakis, as Elefthero Vima. It was owned by Lambrakis Press Group, a group that also publishes the newspaper Ta Nea, among others in its fold of publications.

Proto Thema is a Greek newspaper, published every Sunday. It was launched in 2005 by Makis Triantafyllopoulos, Themos Anastasiadis, and Tassos Karamitsos. An editorial team runs the newspaper, and all three of its founders are journalists; Triantafyllopoulos and Anastasiadis also host television talk shows.

Stochos
